As a member of the team, you will work directly with key staff at client sites and liaise with our engineering team and product management. An ability to quickly master the complexities of clinical research operations and the OnCore software products will be essential in this role.
Elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of customers and end users. This includes translating high-level business and user requirements through conversations with customers into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail that can be utilized for development.
Work with the project team to document the project's vision and the scope, and liaise between the customer community and the software development team to gather and communicate requirements and help define and verify product design. Document the requirements and specifications throughout the business analysis cycle.
Become an expert on all OnCore products, lead internal design meetings, and support the broader team by communicating and training new functionality internally prior to releases. Work with the development team, product & training specialists, business development team, international teams, product management, and leadership on various activities that will improve the product line and internal processes.
In conjunction with the Quality Assurance team, verify that the development build meets the original business need; develop test plans for the product; execute and record the results of these plans during regression testing and product validation; and identify, document and report discovered product anomalies and recommend options to increase software consistency.

This role is comprised of several core responsibilities each equally important:
Be an expert in the clinical trial management product; coordinate suggestions for product enhancement; reproduce reported defects; engage and facilitate involvement of appropriate personnel through to resolution; document cases and interactions using issue tracking system; demonstrate responsiveness and sense of urgency in all client interactions; actively support individual and team initiatives; build understanding of client-working practices and standard operating procedures; assist with software regression testing and documentation. The Product Specialist role is functional and not technical in nature.
Create in person and web-based training programs for end-users and internal staff; continuously improve the training curriculum; provide training for groups ranging from one-on-one sessions to large classroom environments; conduct training at both client sites nationwide and from our corporate office in Madison. Training will be provided both in person and remotely using internet technologies.
Provide product demonstrations to support the needs of both the existing client base and the business development team.
Product demonstrations are conducted from our corporate office as well as at the prospect or client site.

Forte Research Systems currently has an opening for a Project Manager. As a member of our Project Management Office, you will be responsible for project management, training and business analysis. You will become an expert in our software application and utilize this expertise along with your problem-solving skills to analyze clients' needs to determine strategies tailored to their organization and ensure a successful implementation of our software. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our implementation and software documentation, solicit input of product improvement and assist with software testing.
