Clinical Research Community to Converge in Madison

The 12th Onsemble conference focuses on fostering partnerships for research excellence.

Madison, Wis. (Aug. 26, 2011) — Leading institutes in the clinical research community will gather to discuss key issues and pinpoint solutions to achieve excellence in their operations at the 12th Onsemble conference. It will be held September 14-16, 2011, at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin. Hosted by Forte Research Systems, Inc., the event provides a forum for collaboration for members of the Onsemble community, which largely consists of prospective and current users of the company’s market-leading product, the OnCore Clinical Research Management system.

‘The Power of Partnerships’

The agenda for the upcoming conference is filled with great learning and networking opportunities. The theme of this year’s conference centers on fostering partnerships for research excellence. One session on the agenda will explore opportunities for integration of external systems with OnCore. Titled “Technology Partnerships: Interfacing eIRB Systems with OnCore,” the discussion will center on breaking down barriers to eIRB systems integration in order to achieve more efficient operations. Srini Kalluri, Founder, President, CEO, and Chief Customer Experience Officer, will speak about the company’s Software Development Kit, which was introduced for the purpose of interfacing OnCore with all eIRB systems. Bangalore, India (August 24, 2011) – Input from sites working closely with Forte Research Systems has resulted in another fantastic quarterly update to Allegro® CTMS@Site, the clinical trials management system designed exclusively for investigator sites. Additionally, cash-flow concerns of investigator sites spurred the company to offer a six month payment holiday and create other new flexible pricing structures.

Allegro CTMS@Site Summer 2011 Version Released

New features for drug accountability and supply inventory management along with enhancements to protocol design, clinical trials financials management and budgeting are central to the Summer 2011 version of the Allegro CTMS@Site system.

The Bangalore Diabetes Hospital, one of the sites from Bangalore, India, worked with Forte Research Systems from the beginning to help guide the development of the Allegro CTMS@Site product. Recently, they have upgraded to the Summer 2011 version of the product.

Meridian Health Supports Centralized Clinical Research across a Five-Hospital Network with the OnCore System

A multi-year project to centralize a growing clinical research program, improve accruals, and move away from paper-based processes culminated last month with the implementation of the OnCore Clinical Research Management system across a five-hospital network at Meridian Health in New Jersey.

The project began a few years ago when Meridian began moving away from paper-based processes and started managing data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. However, with rapid growth in their clinical research division, spreadsheets quickly became woefully inadequate.
