The Un-Corporate Giving Policy

Receiving awards, achieving success, and celebrating with terrific teammates makes a person think about how fortunate they are. Especially in the last two years, Forte has celebrated myriad successes both big and small. We continue to add terrific people to our team, we’ve been recognized two years in a row on the Inc. 500|5000 list, and our customers remain faithful and appreciative of the products we’ve developed. It was clear that it was time to formalize our corporate giving policy and start giving back to the community in an organized and structured way.

But a “Corporate Giving Policy” is almost by definition the opposite of what we hoped to achieve. While it’s fun to see our logo up at events and it would be nice to get a little more recognition for our contributions to the community, typical corporate sponsorship of events for the sake of some additional brand recognition is really not Forte’s style. For the second year in a row, Forte Research Systems appears on Inc.’s annual list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

MADISON, Wis. (August 26, 2011) – Forte Research Systems, Inc., developer of clinical and translational research software systems, announced today that it was ranked No. 1695 on Inc. magazine’s fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This is the second year in a row that Forte Research has made the list, an accomplishment made even sweeter by the company’s jump of 867 spots up the list from its placement in 2010.

Good Culture Conquers Chaos

Much is written about good corporate culture. Yet, it is an elusive concept that often defies definition. So clearly an intrinsic characteristic of some standout companies (like Google or Zappos), why is it that most companies are hard-pressed to mimic these successes? And why do cultures changes with company size? Many believe that the culture of small, start-up companies must be different from those of large companies and that no culture can withstand the rigors of growth from small start-up through second stage growth to Fortune 500.

Forte Research Systems Expands Leadership Team

Madison, WI (October 19, 2010) — Forte Research Systems, Inc., a leading developer of clinical research management software, has expanded its leadership team with two key additions this year. First, the company welcomed Srini Ramachandra as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development in the second quarter. Then, Kevin McPherson joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in the third quarter.

These additions are part of an overall pattern of growth and increased visibility for the company.
