The program is designed to establish experts at research institutions, thereby creating greater efficiencies in processes and reducing costs.

Madison, Wis. (Oct. 16, 2011) – Forte Research Systems has introduced a certification program for organizations that use OnCore®, the company’s market-leading product line of clinical and translational research management systems. By establishing experts at clinical research centers, the program is designed to ensure that all users institution-wide have the tools to utilize their system to its full capability and, thus, create more efficient processes for research.

OnCore Certified Trainer

Training is a critical issue for academic medical centers and cancer centers. Maintaining standardized, high-quality training programs over time for employees across an institution has proven a persistent challenge for sites. In addition to the training provided in the initial adoption and rollout of OnCore, the Certified Trainer program is an option designed to assist centers with their ongoing training needs by establishing expert trainers on site.

Using a “Train the Trainer” concept, organizations can designate trainers on staff who can complete the certification program and then share their expert knowledge with end users at their respective sites. To become certified, trainers will complete courses that are taught by Forte experts. Additionally, Certified Trainers will have access to training materials for use to conduct end-user training sessions in the future.

Trainers may become certified on one or more topics relating to the use of OnCore. This includes the OnCore Clinical Research Management system, (OnCore-CRM), OnCore for Biospecimen Management (OnCore-BSM), and OnCore for Unified Registries Management (OnCore-URM). If individuals become certified in all products, they will receive a special designation of OnCore MAESTRO.

PercipEnz Technologies Changes its Name to Forte Research Systems

September 28th, 2010 by Forte Research Customer Experience Services

Forte Research Systems LogoMadison, Wis (September 29, 2010) – Ten-year-old software company, PercipEnz Technologies, Inc. has changed its name to Forte Research Systems, Inc.

“It’s something we’ve been thinking about for some time,” said the company’s founder, president, and CEO, Srini Kalluri. “We’ve grown rapidly and expect the pace to get even faster. As we offer new products to the broader research community and expand into new geographies, it is all the more important for us to have coherence between the company and product names.”

PercipEnz, which came from the combination of two words, percipient and enzyme, was always just a little too hard to say or spell and it was difficult to explain to people hearing it for the first time.

“Forte is easy to say and it fits with our products,” said Kalluri.

The company’s products and customer community have musically themed names with alternative spellings. OnCore® is a software platform for supporting clinical research and Onsemble® is the customer community. The company also offers data exchange services through the Crescendo Clinical and Translational Research Exchange. The new name, Forte, comes from an Italian musical term that means loud.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, Forte Research Systems develops enterprise-class clinical and translational research management software. The company’s flagship product, the OnCore system, is the nation’s most widely adopted clinical research platform among academic research organizations and cancer centers.
